We had so much fun with the Joan Baez caption game a couple of weeks ago that we’ve decided to make it a weekly(ish) feature called Caption This!

Add your wittiest, wisest or wackiest caption as a comment on this post or on our Facebook page and we’ll collect the favorites and put them up here.

UPDATE: Here are a few favorites:

“Let’s get blown!”

‎”Eh, I’m blowin’, I’m blowin’…whaddya want?!”

‎”I’ve got to karate-chop this sax-monster before it injects the rest of its venom into my mouth!”

“Who cares if you can dunk. Can you make a no-look shot while playing ‘Edelweiss’ on the sax? Didn’t think so.”

Bonus Facebook comment:
Seriously, though, that new White Stripes album looks great.

I’d like to say something really witty about this album cover but I’m blank. If you can think of something, either comment it here or on our Facebook page and I’ll throw the best ones up.
Cheers,
Cat

UPDATE: Here are a handful of the best comments.

“What, precisely, is the Lost Wright Sister blowin’ away at?”

“Five. I took five valium. Are we underwater?”

“The first (and last) participant in Nasa’s “Folk Musicians in Space” program”

“After volunteering to fly NASA’s rocket-powered bi-plane into space, Ms. Baez was never seen again. ‘Now she’s the Moon’s problem,’ says a grateful public.”

“I grew up with this record on my mom’s record shelves.. I used to stare at it for hours wishing I had the jacket for my astronaut costume. One day at a store she bought me this same jacket with a checkered flag and “PORSCHE” down the sleeve.. although I couldn’t use it for my spacesuit it made a great race car driver jacket for going to the Classic Car Races with my dad. I wish I still had it.”
