Fresh Stuff from the Head & the Heart

SignsOfLight.jpg

Seattle indie-folk outfit the Head & the Heart just dropped Signs of Light, its third album and the band’s major label debut.

Putting its folky tendencies behind it, the band shows off its pop chops on this one as it balances high-production anthem-like tunes with slower ballads.

For those attached to the Head & the Heart’s rootsy side, this one may seem a bit overproduced, but for those of willing to go wherever this evolving band leads, Signs of Light is a solid offering from one of the Pacific Northwest’s standout acts.
