Fresh Stuff From Gogol Bordello

Gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello recently dropped its sixth album, Pura Vida Conspiracy. A rousing, all-in, south-of-the-border-inspired stomper, it’s full of big-picture declarations, roof-raising energy and well-steeped reflections.

Unmistakably a Gogol Bordello album, this one takes a slight turn from the band’s previous hellfire pace approach with some thoughtful, slower tunes that reveal insights gained from being the world’s most well-known, anarchist punk, gypsy troubadours. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of jumparound to be had.
