Vinyl Saturday Offerings for November 7, 2009

Vinyl Saturday, a once-a-month event, is a special time for record collectors and music lovers as independent stores are given limited and exclusive releases that are only available through indie sellers.
Saturday, November 7 is the next such happening and we at Streetlight Records have sweetened the pot by offering 15% off all day, on all new records. This doesn’t apply to Vinyl Saturday exclusives, or stuff that’s already on sale, but who’s complaining?

Beatles – Abbey Road Anniversary Edition
Record Store Day is proud to celebrate this connection with a special 40th Anniversary edition of Abbey Road that includes the vinyl album, and a t-shirt that featuring the original artwork for the “Come Together”/”Something” 7” single, along with a corresponding poster. This limited edition deluxe package will be release on Vinyl Saturday, November 7th in the United States and will be limited to 5000 in the world.
LCD Soundsystem – Bye Bye Bayou
The first new music from James Murphy’s project since the release of Sound of Silver is 8+ minutes of deep, soulful groove. Exclusively at indie record stores. Look for a new record in March 2009!
